Shaklee Hits the Road With Its Infinite Possibilities Tour

Nationwide tour to impact the lives of one million families by offering an economic opportunity in these tough economic times

PLEASANTON, Calif., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Shaklee Corporation Chairman and CEO Roger Barnett will launch a nationwide campaign to promote an opportunity that offers economic support to one million families in 2009. The campaign will come to Denver, CO on Feb. 13.

"Families are struggling to make ends meet in this difficult economy," says Barnett. "While so many others are cutting back, we're a 50-year-old company with a revolutionary business model that's seeking to create one million new entrepreneurial opportunities to give people the potential to thrive even during these difficult economic times."

"Shaklee has actually grown during the past seven economic downturns. Our economic growth, combined with products that make people and the planet healthier, make Shaklee a powerful force for good," says Barnett.

The tour comes at a time when the economic crisis is growing both in the United States and the rest of the world. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, almost 2.6 million people in the U.S. have lost their jobs just in 2008 alone, which brings the total number of unemployed to 11.1 million -- with unemployment levels expected to rise throughout 2009. Shaklee offers an entrepreneurial opportunity to supplement earnings with part-time OR full-time income.

As part of this campaign, Shaklee is offering substantial cash bonuses to people who join in the first quarter in an effort to help them jump-start their business during this difficult time. In addition, every new person attending an Infinite Possibilities meeting will receive a free 10-day trial supply of Vivix(TM), the company's revolutionary cellular anti-aging dietary supplement.

Founded in 1956, Shaklee Corporation is the leading natural nutrition company in the United States. It has paid out more than $4 billion in total commissions to millions of people around the world. The company's innovative product portfolio includes proprietary nutrition, healthy weight-management, healthy beauty products, and healthy home products. Shaklee has been an environmental pioneer for decades and was the first company in the world to be Climate Neutral(TM) certified to totally offset its carbon emissions, resulting in a net-zero impact on the environment.

"We're in the business of doing well by doing good," says Barnett. "I strongly believe that, through our network of educators and business leaders, we can empower people to live healthier lives while taking care of their families and the planet."

The event will take place at Denver Marriott South North at 7:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. For information on this campaign, call 1-800-SHAKLEE.
